Insulation Technology, Inc. manufactures packaging,
roofing and construction products using EPS (Expanded Polystyrene), one
of the most cost-effective materials on the market.
EPS
insulation possesses the physical and mechanical properties ideal for
most insulation specifications. Due to its design flexability and
versitility, it can be cut into sheets, slabs or any design requirement
to meet specific building code standards. EPS is used as insulation in
walls, roofs, and foundations, as well as a component in structural
insulated panels (SIP's), insulated concrete forms (ICF's) and exterior
insulated finishing systems (EFIS).
| Its wide range of properties make Expanded Polystyrene an excellent choice with an endless number of applications including: |
- Protective Packaging
- Components
- CAD-Cut Specialties
- Foundation Insulation
- Roof Vents
- Backaboard
|
|
- Insulated Containers
- Buoys & Flotation
- Geofoam
- Wall Insulation
- Flute Filler
- Cement Block fill
|
|
- Displays
- Sculptures
- Insulation
- Roofing Insulation
- Ceiling Tile
- Outside Wall Systems

EPS has been used successfully for many years in areas where moisture
is a concern, specifically below grade. Fungi, bacteria and rot do not
affect EPS. The performance properties will not deteriorate when exposed
to moisture and/or water. EPS will breath, allowing the diffusion of
moisture. EPS insulation is available in a variety of densities to suit
project needs. ASTM C578 provides performance properties on expanded
polystyrene foam insulation.
